Ranunlulus Skill up Lessons
Our ranunculus flower techniques have dramatically evolved since they were first introduced in Flower Course Curriculum. While ranunculus flowers are known to have many delicately thin petals, we feel that with these new and improved techniques combined with our specially curated silicone molds, you can quickly achieve very realistic ranunculus flowers to add to your collection of lifelike clay blossoms!
Ranunculus flowers are a DECO favorite, and we are always asked to create new lessons surrounding this flower type. You will learn how to make an open type flower with a visible center, a closed center type flower, a tight bud, and a slightly open bud. You will also learn how to assemble the flower and bud stems together. We hope you enjoy these updated techniques and new molds!

CLAYCRAFT by DECO was developed in Japan by Kazuko Miyai who founded DECO Clay Craft Academy in 1981. Her passion for crafting inspired her to work with a chemist to develop the perfect clay. When she was finally satisfied with the results, she began doing presentations and conducting workshops to share her love of clay crafting.
DECO Clay Craft Academy was founded in 1981 by Kazuko Miyai. There are now over 6,000 instructors of this craft in Japan, Russia Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, and more are being trained every day.
